Freelancers vs. Agencies: Who should you trust to do your website´s design?

¨I am so poor that I can´t even afford to buy myself cheap things.¨

The first time I heard this expression, it took me a moment to understand it. If it wasn´t for the help of another local expression,¨cheap things end up being expensive¨, I wouldn´t have understoodthe meaning of that phrase. In many cases, paying suspiciously less results in a product or service that is of such poor quality that we end up paying more in the end.

In the same way, hiring a freelancer can seem like a good deal at first, but the support and service that an agency provides is invaluable. There are a numerous amounts of freelancers who post ads onlineoffering web designs and top Google results for cheap. This mayseem appealing at first, but in reality, a very low percent of these projects are created with the standards needed to be a successful and
competitive site online.

By working with an agency, a client can guarantee that the projectwill be completed because it has access to multiple services. In contrast, freelancers may not provide the same continuity of service with a consistent level of quality. For example, a freelancer focuses on launching a website; however, if a client needs technical support with online tools or modifications down the line, that service is often out of the scope for a freelancer. As a result, theyare forced to hire another freelancer and incur the costs of starting the project over with someone new. This particularly happens years later when the freelancer cannot be contacted, forcing the company to start the project from scratch with new technology.

Many clients come to RDS seeking refuge from the life of working with freelancers. Instead of one individual, RDS provides of team of people with the confidence that they have had years of experience working with satisfied clients.

RDS is not only limited to providing technical solutions. For example, when a company has a project that requires a team ofpeople with various skills, RDS also is in charge of finding and hiring the right people for the job. Many international clients have used this service with great success.

Based on the past holiday seasons, statistics show that more and more people are using the Internet to shop online. For this reason, many companies are finding it important to have an online presence to grow their business. The question is: who are they going to trust with that great responsibility? A freelancer or an agency? If they are seeking accountability, responsibility, and a wide range of services; an agency like RDS is the only option.

  1. ..Some freelancers choose to partner with someone who complements their skills. For example a designer may work with a developer under one business name. ..This is the guy who probably initiates relationships with clients and then contracts out most or all of the work to other freelancers.

  2. I just want to tell you that I am all new to blogs and really liked you’re page. More than likely I’m planning to bookmark your blog . You actually come with superb articles and reviews. Thanks a lot for revealing your blog.
